Well, I HAD to try this out........crocheting with used plastic shopping bags. To see more projects made with recycled plastic bags, go to You Tube and search "plastic bag crochet".
I made 2 coffee cup insulators with a couple of bags from Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart. This is a fun, fast project. People always want to know where I got it whenever they see me with my coffee.

Hi Diane, I love this project with used plastic bags. What a great way to reuse and recycle. I have tried knitting with yarn made out of old t-shirts...it was fun. Thanks for the comment you left on my blog.
